Affordable Vehicle Diagnostics and repairs

It can happen to all of us: a service light on the dashboard indicates a problem. Sometimes it's best to stop immediately and have it towed, sometimes you can continue to drive and see to it later. In any case, when you want your car trouble diagnosed, come to Carcare Computerized Auto Service, the car diagnosis specialist in Addis Ababa. We'll tell you what exactly is going on with your car and advise how to remedy the failure. Once we identified the nature of the problem, have it fixed by your own mechanic or by us. It's entirely up to you and we are here to help. Don't drive around with service lights indicating engine, gearbox, abs or airbag trouble. Contact us now or visit us to have your vehicle diagnosed right away.

On-Board Diagnostics or OBD

On-Board Diagnostics, or OBD is a generic term referring to a vehicle's self-diagnostic and reporting capability. OBD systems give the vehicle owner or a repair technician access to state of various vehicle sub-systems. This information is generated by the ECU or electronic control unit, meaning the computer of the car. Modern OBD implementations use a standardized fast digital communications port to provide real-time data in addition to a standardized series of diagnostic trouble codes, or DTCs, which allow one to rapidly identify and remedy malfunctions within the vehicle. Most Japanese Vehicle have OBD-II installed. However, not all car brands use the same OBD connector. Carcare Computerized Auto Service not only uses a state of the art scanner, but has all the plugs, cables and connectors needed for all the different car models.
